What was once exclusively part of a sampler pack will now get its own individual release. The La Aurora 120th Anniversary Lancero, formerly of La Aurora’s Limited Edition Lancero Collection, should be shipping to retailers by late July. Made in the Dominican Republic at the La Aurora S.A. factory, the 120th Anniversary debuted in 2023 to commemorate 120 years in business.
The Lancero measures 6 7/8 inches by 40 ring gauge, comes topped with a pigtail cap and has a suggested retail price of $18. Its blend consists entirely of Dominican tobaccos, including a Habano ’92 wrapper, an Olor binder and a mix of Piloto Cubano, Olor and Corojo filler. According to the company, the Lanceros are medium-to-full-bodied cigars.
Production is limited to 750 boxes of 20 cigars, each clad in a cedar sleeve.
